Brennan jerked opened the door to the Audi and climbed his lean body into it. He closed the door and made sure to buckle up. He turned the engine on and pushed the garage door opener and zoomed backwards out. He made sure to hit the garage door opener again to close it. He jerked the wheel to the right and speed away from the Sanctuary. Away from the only home he cared to know. Away from Emma.

He turned the radio on to an heavy metal band and turned the volume up to drown out the sounds that his heart was making as he tried to block out Emma's face from his mind. He didn't like heavy metal but it was the only type of music he could think of that could overcome his soul into thinking of nothing but his driving.

He swerved to miss the cat that suddenly was in the middle of the road. He shook his head to clear it of Emma's image that came to him. *Must concient on my driving. I can't get in an wreck. The team needs me in one piece so I can bet Germonx's asses when they try to steal the new Mutants of the world.* He thought furiously.

Emma's face kept coming back even though Brennan tried to shove it away. He finally had to swerve to the side of the road and slam on the breaks. He turned the engine off but kept the radio on. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT FROM ME EMMA! YOU WANT ME TO TELL YOU THAT I LOVE YOU. FINE THAN I LOVE YOU. I NEED YOU. I WANT YOU. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU. " Brennan screamed at Emma's image.

Emma looked up suddenly. "Brennan?" She said softly expecting to see her friend at her empty bedroom door way. When she didn't see him she frowned and turned back to reading her mystery novel.

"Adam what do you think of Brennan's feelings for Emma?" Shalimar asked Adam.

Jesse looked up interested on that note. "What do you think Emma's feelings are for him? I think that's the question that should be asked."

"I don't know." Adam said seriously. He shook his head. "I don't think it's our place to discuss the matter." He knew of Brennan's love for Emma was and he knew that Emma was still confused to weather or not she truly loved Brennan or not.

"Should we confront Emma and make her decided weather Brennan's the man for her or not?" Jesse asked suddenly.

"Jesse!" Shalimar was shocked at Jesse's question. "In the matter of love you don't just ask an person who is still unsure where their heart lies to make an decision one way or another. The person might make an wrong decision and not only ruin their life but the other person's also." *I should know.*

"Shalimar is right Jesse. For the time being just be around in case if Brennan and Emma want to confinde in you and just be an friend and lesson. Don't play match maker." Adam said looking seriously into Jesse's eyes.

"You are right." Jesse nodded. "Sorry I want the best for Brennan and Emma and I have an feeling that them being together is right."

"I do also." Shalimar agreed with an nod of her head.

Adam didn't agree but he didn't disagree. He just kept his own peace about his thoughts on Brennan and Emma.
